Dear Friends,

A contribution to ArtSpan supports the San Francisco visual arts community and each artist in his or her effort to live as a cultural contributor to our great city. Each donation underwrites the costs of producing San Francisco Open Studios, Art for City Youth and Selections. Each in-kind donation and volunteer hour offsets the goods and services purchased to produce those programs.

Long ago the ArtSpan founders created a program by which the artists pay less than half of the costs, and contributions make it possible for ArtSpan to create and promote the treasured institution of San Francisco Open Studios. Over the years ArtSpan has expanded that programming to include a rich youth program to empower young minds and employ artists, business development for artists and juried exhibitions to create new opportunities for artists.

ArtSpan has long been supported by a community that values our cause: to create a Bay Area where artists thrive. Your contribution subsidizes each and every artist in our program. For this, we thank you.
