INTERN Job Summary:
 
ArtSpan seeks an intern to support the SF Open Studios program, Artist Mixers, Professional Development Workshops, SF Open Studios Guide, SF Open Studios Exhibition, & Private Preview Gala.
 
Tasks include:

  • Data entry, mailings, filing; general administrative tasks
  • Co-coordinate volunteer management
  • Co-coordinate event management for mixers etc.
  • Guide and publication proofing
  • Support staff and PR team with marketing of SF Open Studios events

 
Qualifications:

  • Recent college graduate or degree-seeking student
  • Computer and Internet literate
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel
  • Familiarity with databases, ability to learn FileMaker Pro
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in small spaces
  • Sense of humor
  • Knowledge of San Francisco visual arts preferred

 
Compensation:
Unpaid internship
 
Reports to Lindsay Barrick, Communications & Operations Manager, and other supervisors on specific projects. Office dress is casual/business casual to business formal as directed by supervisor.
